The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) invites Estonian start-ups as well as small and medium-sized enterprises from all sectors of the economy to apply for the awards. A key eligibility requirement is that the company uses intellectual assets strategically and creates a positive impact on society through its trademarks, designs, or patents.
In 2026, the following awards will be presented:
- ten awards to entrepreneurs from different economic sectors
- a thematic award for an entrepreneur in the sports sector
- two special prizes: Best Woman Entrepreneur and Best Young Entrepreneur
What do the winners receive?
- an invitation to the award ceremony in Geneva, held alongside the WIPO General Assembly
- participation in a personalized WIPO mentoring programme
- global visibility through WIPO and United Nations networks
- valuable contacts with investors, large corporations, and business partners
Applications can be submitted until 31 March 2026 on the WIPO website.
