New applications for registration of a patent, a utility model, applications for validation of the European patent can be filled in the Portal and sent to the Estonian Patent Office.
E-applications concerning legal protection of trade marks and industrial designs, renewal, changes in the data and transfer of rights and ownership can be filed with the Estonian Patent Office via the portal of e-services.
Moreover it is possible to file electronic revocation applications of trade marks to the Industrial Property Board of Appeal in this portal.
Through the portal, you can submit an international e-application under the Madrid Protocol, provided that you already have an Estonian national application or registration for the same trade mark.

Number of GPPH Pilot Program Participants Increased
On 6 January 2026, the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO) joined the pilot program of the Global Patent Prosecution Highway (GPPH). As a result, the program now includes 29 participating offices.
