The concept of lamps was born from the idea of supporting meaningful bedtime storytelling between the child and the parent, according to Rosenblatt: "We wanted to create something that we - as parents - could cleverly use for conversations with the child. It could not be stimulating in nature, like a smart device, but something that the child could calmly and beneficially look at before falling in sleep."
The decision to protect the trade mark was born immediately after the products began to be marketed. "Because Lambivärk is an Estonian word, it seemed reasonable to register it in Estonia. The registration fee was also relatively good here," Rosenblatt explains. According to the entrepreneur, the registration of the trade mark gave the assurance that such trade mark and word may not be used by competitors in connection with lighting devices.
