- Data is updated continuously, rather than once a week as before.
- The database has a new visual design and is mobile-friendly.
- The old patent and utility model databases will remain accessible until July 15. The data in the old databases is as of July 3 and will no longer be updated.

The updated inventions database now brings together all types of inventions into a single system. Data is updated continuously, the visual design has changed, and the search function has been simplified. The database also has a new link, so those using saved searches should update their links accordingly.
