Marvin Palotu, who’s in the 10th grade at Audentes private school, and his sister Stefie Marie Palotu, received the Estonian Patent Office’s special prize as well as the WIPO medal. Congratulations to the young inventors!
One of the most significant talents of an inventor, according to patent expert Aare Abrams, is the capacity to detect common and already existing objects, and put them together in a little different way, resulting in a technical impact. „It is admirable that young inventors have identified the technical flaws and benefits of heat pumps and presented a perfectly easy technical solution to address them. Heating and cooling uses a lot of energy on a global scale, and even the tiniest inventions can have a major impact,“ he observes.
