The Office granted 9 patents (8 of them Estonian patent holders) and registered 12 utility models (10 of them to Estonians).
There were 419 applications for European patent enforcement, 465 were enforced.
As of the first half of 2023, there were 121 valid patents, 193 utility models and 11,362 European patents in the registers.
In the first half of 2023, applicants filed 618 applications for trademark registration and 369 international trademark registrations were received, in which Estonia was a contracting party. Estonians owned 535 and 2, respectively. The Office registered 496 national trade marks and enforced 477 international registrations.
The register contained a total of 51,628 valid trade marks, 25,807 of which were national registrations and 25,821 international registrations. Among them 14,478 trade marks belonged to Estonians, followed by Germany with 5,335 and the United States with 3,865 trade marks.
Applicants filed 9 applications for the registration of industrial designs, all belonged to Estonian applicants, and the Office received 6 applications for international registration of industrial designs filed under the Hague Agreement. 8 designs were entered into the register and 11 international registrations entered into force.
The Estonian Register of Industrial Designs has 343 industrial designs and 457 international registrations as of June 30, 2023.
