Young inventors Henri Pihelgas and Ats Oskar Laansalu were awarded by WIPO and the Patent Office
Today, the best of the Estonian Contest for Young Inventors were rewarded at the PROTO invention factory in Tallinn.
The World Intellectual Property Organisation and the Patent Office both awarded Henri Pihelgas and Ats Oskar Laansalu from the 12th grade of Tallinna Mustamäe Secondary School for their invention “Peat mats to eradicate environmental pollution from water bodies”. Theoretical studies as well as practical tests can be seen in this work. Getting to the desired result required time and effort from the invention team. The award was handed over by Margus Viher, Director General of the Patent Office.
