A WIPO training began in Tallinn for the intellectual property commercialization experts of the universities of Baltic states
Today, a three-day WIPO training began in Tallinn for the intellectual property commercialization experts of the universities of Baltic states. This is a follow-up training to the pilot project “Baltic States Pilot Project on the Development of the Pool of Regional IP Commercialization Experts” implemented in 2016–2018.
The subject of this training is the evaluation and commercialisation of new technologies. The expertise is shared by experts from WIPO, the French National Institute of Industrial Property and the consultancy firm Focus IP Group. In addition to training, a new project will be launched which is aimed at establishing a regional network of technology transfer specialists and will be implemented in 2019–2020.
