Today a WIPO workshop about IP commercialization started

A two-day WIPO workshop for the IP commercialization experts of Baltic universities begins in Tallinn today. The workshop is a part of WIPO project „Baltic States Pilot Project on Development of the Pool of Regional IP Commercialization Experts“ that started in 2016. The purpose of the project is to raise the awareness of technology transfer of the specialists and to strenghten cooperation between Baltic universities.

This time, the event focuses on the IP asset management strategies of academic institutions. Experts form WIPO, Oxford University Innovation and IP consulting firm Questel share their knowledge in the workshop. 17 universities and one investment and development office take part in the workshop.
