The Madrid system gives the trade mark owner a possibility to protect his/her trade mark in several countries by filing one application with the national or regional office.
The guidelines provide trade mark applicants as well as owners or their representatives in applying legal protection under the Madrid Protocol via the Estonian Patent Office or the OHIM and later administration of registration of the international trade mark.
It is available free of charge in the Receiving Department of the Estonian Patent Office and in the Estonian Patent Information Centre.
