REVENUE
3.2 million EUR accrued to the state budget for acts performed by the Estonian Patent Office (as state fees) in 2015 (2.92 million EUR in 2014), including fees paid by foreign applicants;
revenue for specific purposes from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in the amount of 0.56 million EUR for the examination of international registrations of trade marks in Estonia (0.62 million EUR in 2014);
1.52 million EUR for the continued validity of European patents in Estonia (1.15 million EUR in 2014).
EXPENDITURE
2.12 million EUR expenditure from the state budget:
1.41 million EUR were allocated from the state budget for the operational costs in 2015 (1.29 million EUR in 2014);
and 0.71 million EUR as 50% were earmarked from the fees for the European patents to the European Patent Organisation (0.59 million EUR in 2014).
