Official Gazettes

The Estonian Patent Office publishes the following official gazettes:

The Estonian Patent Gazette - 6 issues annually, published since December 1995;
The Estonian Utility Model Gazette - a quarterly, published since 1994;
The Estonian Trademark Gazette - a monthly, published since 1993;
The Estonian Industrial Design Gazette - a quarterly, published since August 1998.

The Official Gazettes of the Estonian Patent Office (published from 1993 until 2002) are available on the website of the Estonian Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Centre.

In its official gazettes the Estonian Patent Office publishes the decisions to register the objects of industrial property (trademarks, inventions, industrial designs, layout designs of integrated circuits, geographical indications) and amendments to the corresponding registers (the register of trade and service marks, the register of utility models, the register of patents, the register of industrial designs, the register of layout designs of integrated circuits, the state register of geographical indications and the register of European patents valid in Estonia) and all legal acts on industrial property protection, including the original texts and translations of laws and international agreements.

In 1998, the Estonian Trade Mark Gazette started to publish WIPO notes on state emblems, hallmarks indicating control and warranty and emblems, names and abbreviations of names of international intergovernmental organisations which are protected under Article 6 ter of the Paris Convention on the Protection of Industrial property.

The official gazettes of the Patent Office are sold and disseminated by the Estonian Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Centre at the address: Teaduspargi 8, 12618 Tallinn.

The official gazettes of the Patent Office belong to the international exchange stock of patent documentation and are exchanged with 11 countries and one international organisation.
